HOUSTON, TX, JUNE 16, 2009 -- RSA, one of Accudata Systems’ key technology partners, recently announced several security enhancements to its Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution with the release of RSA enVision 4.0.
RSA enVision 4.0 contains enhancements that allow customers to assign risk values to threats, enabling them to further refine the effectiveness of their security policies, processes, and resources. These and other RSA enVision 4.0 enhancements are designed to help customers reduce security incident response times and improve the efficiency and productivity of their security operations personnel. Specific enhancements to note are:
- Improved integration with common configuration, asset, and vulnerability assessment systems
- Workflow enhancements for notification, alerting, ticketing, and security incident response
- New and improved correlation rules that are easily customizable to unique environments
- Enhanced management reporting capabilities on security operations activities
Additionally, RSA introduced two new standalone appliances for mid-sized organizations: the ES-1260 and the ES-3060. Both appliances are specifically designed to help mid-sized enterprise customers monitor large numbers of devices that produce low volumes of event traffic (e.g., retailers subject to Payment Card Industry requirements).
- The ES-1260 supports up to 600 log source devices and event volumes up to 1,200 events per second across all monitored devices
- The ES-3060 supports up to 1,200 log source devices and event volumes up to 3,000 events per second across all monitored devices
