Partnership delivers optimum performance, availability, and security to large enterprise, middle market, and emerging companies Accudata serves
Released CyrusOne, Dallas 02/07/2013:
Global data center services provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) announced today that Accudata Systems, an IT consulting and integration firm, has chosen CyrusOne as its data center solutions provider for high-impact IT infrastructure services and integrated solutions in Texas.
“We chose CyrusOne because we service and support large enterprises, middle market, and emerging companies that demand the highest levels of performance, availability, and security,” said Kurtis Kim, director, Advisory Services Practice, Accudata Systems. “CyrusOne enables a single-source solution with military-grade security and a 100 percent power uptime guarantee to ease client concerns surrounding mission-critical data management.”
CyrusOne specializes in highly reliable enterprise data center colocation, engineering facilities with the highest power redundancy (2N architecture) and power-density infrastructure required to deliver excellent availability. The company’s 630,000-square-foot Massively Modular® facility in Carrollton—the largest data center in Texas and one of the most energy-efficient in the United States—has the capacity to deliver 400,000 square feet of raised-floor data center space and approximately 60,000 square feet of class A office space to Fortune 1000 enterprise customers. It opened in August 2012.
“With several clients already moving to premier colocation facilities, building relationships with high-caliber companies like CyrusOne is essential to establishing our credibility as a partner our customers can trust to satisfy their expectations,” said Kim. “Also, we anticipate CyrusOne’s statewide Internet exchange to be a major asset.”
CyrusOne began piloting in December 2012, in Texas, the first statewide Internet exchange in the United States, as part of its The Sky for the Cloud™ peering and interconnection enablement platform. The exchange interconnects Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio facilities and expected to launch formally in the first quarter of 2013. In addition to its Texas footprint, CyrusOne operates facilities across the United States, Europe, and Asia that give customers the flexibility and scale to perfectly match their specific growth needs.
“The addition of Accudata Systems to CyrusOne’s growing client roster is another example of the increasing demand for the level of infrastructure and quality we provide in our facilities,” said Fred Holloway, CyrusOne’s VP of Channel Sales. “CyrusOne and Accudata Systems share a focus on flexibility, innovation, and customer service that makes for a very productive partnership.”
